If only our governments will decided on this ‘Climate Problem’ this year in Copenhagen! They really should — in my opinion! One thing I would like to do is to show you one awesome campaign and also an awesome remake of the song ‘Beds Are Burning‘.

Have fun, take a look and maybe pass it on to your friends to make the topic even more popular! One person on its own is near to nothing but if many do a little part we are a whole bunch of people who do little => we do much!

On still, warmish nights the mosquitoes descend as soon as the sun starts to go down, so the (citronella) candles aren’t solely for atmosphere.

If you like desks and you also like nature(?) maybe this is the right desk for you! I love it not for the great design but for the awesome view and flare! Take a look if you want it makes me jealous!

Probably one of the most inspiring desks I found the last couple of weeks. It so inspiring that I am my self searching a way to turn my desk into a part-time standing desk!

This is the best home office setup I’ve had. Which is good, cause I’m out of cash …

The Desk I am talking about is the desk by Chris Bowler

I think my desk need an update!

100 Posts, nearly one Year

Probably one of the least important posts. But for me it is great! I relaunched this blog at the 23rd of December 2008. Now about one month before the year is complete, I have reached 100 Posts (with this one) after the relaunch.

Over all I am pretty happy that I have been able to do this, that I stuck with it and wrote this great amount of posts. I know that many people round the globe do more and some do less with better quality but I am doing this for me, I am doing this for my english writing and also to get my voice out there! To get great content out there and therefore I need to train writing. Also I have to focus on school and have other passions to spend time with so I am happy that I find the time to write here that regularly.

Also a great THANK YOU to the people who read this I would love to hear from you more often — comments or emails are very welcome!

LSC: Where is the Problem about my Lifestyle

Third post of the series about my a life-style change.

What is an alternative Lifestyle? Maybe I need to get rid of the ‘all and everything online’ thoughts? Maybe the whole internet is not that great as it seems to be? Maybe I need to search for a new profession, which I can make a living of in the future? What are the alternatives?

I would say that one alternative would be just finishing school, not thinking about other things than school and doing that one thing — school — the best possible. But there are two aspect why that is not possible for me. One is the fact, that all I do on the side is my passion which I trained over the past year — and years — and I do not want to through all that effort into the trash. I am serious that it needs to be possible that I can dig my own whole. The second is the problem with my mind, that I have to many ideas which I would like to work on ideally all at once. Ideas to change something. Ideas for a new Service or Product. Ideas about our earth, globalization, climatic changes and ideas about every thing else what happens around me.

That being sad, I am not able to just switch focus to not do what I currently want. But I need to specify what I want, need to watch out to not do the wrong thing, need to learn something about my projects and in the end should be able to adapt some habits of other peoples lifestyle.

All that could also be refereed to as GTD — Getting Things Done — but in a slightly other view than the normal GTD which I see as focused on the ‘work needs to get finished’. My view is the aspect of life time needs to get scheduled.

These are the ideas about what are the problems, what I could do. Next will be about the ideas how I can realize this.

I’ve seen a lot of discussion in the last couple of years on where the interface between the human and the computer needs to go.

10/GUI is probably the best overall case I’ve seen yet. It’s a longer video, but worth the time.

I have nothing to add to that! It looks awesome simple! But I do not know if I could life with it.

Ok, we here in Germany have a little better situation than the people over in the USA but still: I want more speed for less price!

Frustrating Internet Access Costs!

Some weeks ago, I wrote an article how and why I write a diary. Some days ago Patrick Rhone wrote an article about the same topic. He asked friends to tell him why and how they write a diary and published the answers anonymously at his blog

I keep secrets. I think most of us do. It’s an interesting paradox in this increasingly connected twitter-facebook-blogging-here-is-what-was-in-my-breakfast world.
