In addition to the three posts about 2009, the Big Picture blog posted a collection of 50 photographs showing the Decade in news Photographs. Take a look, remember and wonder what you forgot happened!

Being heard can’t be our motivation for speaking. Being responded to can’t be our motivation for sharing. Being discovered can’t be our motivation for creating.

~ Joshua Blankenship: On The Entitlement Baggage of Social Media

I found this great quote in a quick post by Jorge Quinteros and instantly thought that fits the way I want to write this blog. I feel just like it is what I searched to describe why I write this blog (which I already wrote about). Instantly needed to add the quote to my about page!

The people over at The Big Picture blog created three posts, featuring photographs of the year 2009. I think it is a great lookthrough, interesting and remembering!

Editor of CSS-Trics.com (Chris Coyier) wrote a review of Safari and Firefox, comparing them to each other. I once had the same decision to take and I stuck with Safari for about ten month now.

I’ve traditionally been a Firefox guy. I like Firefox. I like the peeps at Mozilla, and they do great things. I also like Apple, and when I can, I try to use Apple products. So for an entire week, I decided I was going to suck it up and just try and make the switch to using Safari as my main web browser.

Take a look at the comparison and decide for your self!

* UPDATE *

Chris Bowler wrote a short post comparing Chrome for Mac and Safari, take a look and decided between even more browsers!

I’ve been using either Droplr or Cloud for the past 3 months and both are great tools. But Droplr comes out ahead in a few ways.

~ Chris Bowler

I will definitely try this one — Droplr — lets see how this thing works, but it already sounds great!

* Update:

I just stopped using Droplr. It looks great and is pretty easy use, but for me it is not of a value to run in the backround all the time. I can just use my DropBox public folder for most of the quick file sharing I need to do. Still the stats feature is awesome!

Many may know Tim Ferriss, the Author of ‘The 4 Hour Work Week’. Now a guy called Eric Karjaluoto over at ideasonideas wrote some words about him.

I say Tim wanted some free publicity – which he got – alongside some inexpensive ideas for his cover. He’s pretty good at seeming like a misunderstood nice-guy, which perhaps he is, but his actions might lead us to a different conclusion.

~ Eric Karjaluoto

I do not state my opinion here but one thing to mention: Tim Ferriss definitely is a interesting guy and someone who does some interesting stuff. And if he just lives half the way he tells to live, he has an awesome lifestyle!

They screen low budget movies for a few bugs or to watch for free. It is a trial and error but sometimes the movies are really great and have value!

If only our governments will decided on this ‘Climate Problem’ this year in Copenhagen! They really should — in my opinion! One thing I would like to do is to show you one awesome campaign and also an awesome remake of the song ‘Beds Are Burning‘.

Have fun, take a look and maybe pass it on to your friends to make the topic even more popular! One person on its own is near to nothing but if many do a little part we are a whole bunch of people who do little => we do much!

On still, warmish nights the mosquitoes descend as soon as the sun starts to go down, so the (citronella) candles aren’t solely for atmosphere.
