Some time ago I wrote a series of posts to fill this page with some more information.

Hi and welcome to my weblog.
My name is Christoph Spiegl. I’m a 18 year old guy living in a little town near Hof, Germany. At the moment I’m a full-time student who has most of his passions outside of school. They reach from blogging to photography over design and web-development. Besides this different things I try to build up a freelance career with some online-projects — this blog is one of such. If you want to know more about my different passions please keep reading.
Oh and yes, I’m a Mac addicted.
This Blog
Being heard can’t be our motivation for speaking. Being responded to can’t be our motivation for sharing. Being discovered can’t be our motivation for creating.
These quote is probably the best way to describe this blog. I want to write, I want to read and just want to do! These personal and professional blog is about all that. I write content which interests me: Apple, Design, New Media and probably everything else which comes along! I started this site in early 2008 and relaunched it in December 2008. Since then I have been writing constantly — two posts per week. Why I write this in English — my mother language is German? About that I wrote a whole post but in short: it is a trick to force me to use the English language more often.
Photography
Photography hadn’t been a big part in my live for ever. Some years back I decided to get myself a Canon EOS 30D and since then I never stopped taking photos and adding to my gear. Currently I am shooting with a Canon EOS 5D Mark II which mostly is attached to either my EF 28mm f/1.8 USM or the EF 85mm f/1.8 USM lens. If you want to know more, I wrote a post about my decisions and my way, I expanded into the field [here].

The Desk
My desk is one of the most important things for a great work result. I can’t work if it’s cluttered with random stuff. To enter the Creative Zone it has to be clean and ordered. In my opinion the desk is the greatest desk I can imagine, it’s big and beautiful. I wrote a in-depth posts about my desk here (and it got featured online).
Macintosh Workstation
I started out with a PC — no, I’m not a Mac User by birth. I decided to buy a MacBook in August 2007. Since then I’m a happy owner of a white MacBook. Complementing my desk. The external display, mouse and keyboard are beautifully added. I’m happy with my decision to go Mac and the MacBook hopefully will be replaced someday. (Series Post)
